Everyone has their 15 minutes of fame.
For some, it happens live on TV. For others, it happens as a recap on the 11 o'clock news. And for others, they land in the top 10 on American Idol, only to be forgotten a month later.
For us, it happened in a 3rd grade classroom.
This group of HIGHLY energetic 8 and 9 year olds welcomed us with open arms {and LOTS of questions}. We were asked to come and speak about what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

Let's talk about how we were in our {ahem} 30's before we understood what an entre-whosy-whatsy was, and now these NINE YEAR OLDS are putting our intelligence to shame.
If you want to feel famous, have a teacher introduce you to her class as a "business owner", "entrepreneur", "employer", "speaker", "motivator",
and former American Idol. It sure will make you feel a whole lot more important than you actually are.
Those kids have no idea how significantly they are going to impact the world. In listening to their dreams, we saw future business owners, professional athletes, restauranteurs, inventors, doctors, ministers, builders...dreamers.
And it's a joy to stand on the other side and be able to say all our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. {sayeth a little guy named Walt Disney}
